Websites Are Blocking Far More AI Bots

Sites on Cloudflare's network denied 13.47% of AI bot requests in the third quarter of 2026, compared with 5.98% in the same quarter of 2025. The figures come from Cloudflare Radar data analyzed by TechnologyChecker.io, as reported by Agile Brand Guide.

Anthropic Updates Its Usage Policy, Effective November 12

Anthropic's updated usage policy takes effect on November 12. Per TechCrunch, it bars sustained, needless abuse of Claude and groups rules against deceiving voters or disrupting elections under a section titled “Do Not Undermine Democratic Processes”. Other sections prohibit deceptive campaigns, such as fake accounts or fabricated news outlets.
